Vinyl Floor Cleaning

Our vinyl floor cleaning process

At Stain Busters, we pride ourselves on our detailed and effective process when it comes to our vinyl floor cleaning services. Our methods ensure your flooring not only looks like new, but is also thoroughly, hygienically cleaned.

Here’s what you can expect our step-by-step process to look like:

Pre-Inspection

Before we begin, our team conducts a thorough pre-inspection of your vinyl floor, and runs a vacuum cleaner over it to ensure the area is completely free of top-layer dirt. This crucial step allows us to assess the condition of your floor and ensure its suitability for our cleaning process. By doing so, we can tailor our approach to best meet the needs of your flooring, thereby guaranteeing optimal results.

Pre-Spray

Once we’ve determined the best cleaning strategy, we apply a pre-spray solution to your vinyl flooring. Our cleaning products are designed to break down and dissolve grime and dirt particles. This step is vital for loosening stubborn dirt clinging to your floor, making it easier to remove.

Scrubbing

After the pre-spray has had time to work its magic, we bring in our rotary scrubbers. These powerful machines agitate all the loosened grime and dirt, further breaking it down. This action emulsifies the dirt, preparing it for extraction and ensuring a deep clean that revitalises your flooring.

Steam Cleaning and Extraction

Next, we utilise our high-pressure, modern truck mounted carpet cleaning machines for hot water steam cleaning and extraction. This phase not only removes the emulsified dirt but also extracts the dirty excess moisture, leaving your clean vinyl plank floors almost dry to the touch.

Rinsing

To ensure no cleaning residue is left behind, we perform a final rinse of the entire area we’ve cleaned. Using the same high-tech extraction method, we remove any remaining cleaning solution, leaving your floor spotless and fresh.

Full Stripping and Sealing

For vinyl flooring in high-traffic areas, such as commercial properties, schools, and offices, we offer additional full stripping and sealing services. These optional extras are ideal for areas that undergo heavy use, as they provide a protective coating that extends the life of your flooring and keeps it looking its best.
