Tile & Grout Cleaning

Here’s what Stain Busters do to make sure your tiles and grout are like new

• Pre-inspection to ensure your grout is in good condition. We need to make sure your grout is stable prior to applying our cleaning product and completing our pressure cleaning process.
• Pre-spray with appropriate tile cleaning product.
• Clean and extract using Stain Busters high pressured truck mounted machines which generate hot water for the extraction method.
• Agitate or scrub grout lines to ensure all dirt is emulsified and ready to be extracted.
• We rinse using clean hot water and extraction.

Your Tile and Grout Cleaning Journey with Us

Measure and Quote

Upon visiting your home, our team assesses the tiled areas you wish to have cleaned, paying special attention to any specific concerns you might have. During our measure and quote process, we’ll also conduct a test clean on a small portion of your tile and grout. This allows you to see the potential results of our cleaning process firsthand.

Pre Spray

A specialised chemical cleaner is applied to your flooring, designed to penetrate deeply into the grout. This process effectively loosens and lifts dirt or grit embedded in the flooring. We ensure an adequate dwell time is provided, allowing the cleaner sufficient time to act for optimal cleaning results.

Agitation

Our counter-rotating brush machine is utilised to thoroughly agitate the floor, ensuring comprehensive scrubbing of your tiles and grout lines. For areas along skirting boards, we perform detailed hand scrubbing to ensure no area is overlooked.

Extraction

Using high-pressure washing, we meticulously clean your floor, removing any dirt or debris in the process. Our advanced tile floor spinner extracts the water and debris directly back into our cleaning truck, leaving no mess behind. Your floors will be dry and ready for foot traffic within just 10 minutes of completion.

How To Keep Your Tiles Immaculate

• Routine Checks: Regularly inspecting your tiles, especially floor tiles, can preemptively tackle stains or dirt before they become too stubborn for household cleaners. It saves you grout cleaning cost in the long run.
• Opt for Sealing: Grout sealing can act as a protective shield against spills and stains. It’s especially beneficial for porous grout, keeping unwanted moisture out.
• Gentle Cleaning: For daily or weekly cleaning, use a soft-bristled brush. It’s effective yet gentle on both tile and grout.
• Mind the Products: When choosing tile cleaners for routine maintenance, ensure they’re compatible with your tile type. Avoid highly acidic or alkaline solutions, which can erode your grout.
• Seek Professionals Annually: Even with meticulous care, it’s a good practice to seek grout cleaning services, like our grout cleaning service, at least once a year. It helps maintain the integrity and beauty of your tiles.
